Tiger
Tigers are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series, often viewed, alongside the lion, as the feline equivalent of the wolf. They are one of three types of large cat that appear in the games. They have rounded heads with three fur spikes on each cheek, rounded ears set high on their heads, prominent upper jaws, and thick cat-like tails.
There are seven tiger villagers so far; four males and three females. Three are jocks, two are peppy, one is cranky, and one is snooty. Additionally, Rowan was originally a cranky islander before becoming a jock villager in Animal Crossing: Wild World. There are no lazy, smug, normal, or sisterly tigers.
Due to Tybalt returning in the Template:WA update, the tiger, along with the horse and the rabbit, is the second villager species in which all of the villagers of that species appear in the same game together after Dōbutsu no Mori e+, the first being the octopus.
With the removal of all guest characters from Welcome amiibo, the tiger is the only species to have all of its villagers throughout the series appear in New Horizons.
