Timmy and Tommy

Timmy and Tommy are two very important characters in the Animal Crossing series, who became such thanks to Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Appearance

Timmy and Tommy are the nephews of Tom Nook. They are two identical twins (even though Timmy was born a few minutes later) and they dress differently depending on what level of the shop they are.

They are two small raccoons (tanuki in Japan) with the same appearance as their uncle, only in a younger version, smaller in height and cuter.

In Animal Crossing, Wild World and City Folk

In these games, only in the latest expansion of Tom Nook's Shop, they work on the top floor helping their uncle.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Tom Nook leaves his historic shop in the hands of his apprentice nephews.

Trivia

• It is notable that Tommy seems to be directly named after Tom Nook.
• Additionally, Timmy and Tommy's Spanish names, when combined, are "Tendo y Nendo". This is almost certainly a pun on the name of their creators, Nintendo, who are one of the largest video game publishers around.
• They both share a birthday with the smug deer Zell. They all have a birthday on the 7^th of June.
