“Look at me, Big E! And be honest, bzzert! You think all I do is work out and get big, don't you? I want the truth!”
― Jitters, Animal Crossing: Wild World
Jitters (ジーニョ, Jīnyo) is a jockbirdvillager from the Animal Crossing series, who made his debut in Animal Crossing: Wild World. His name refers to "coffee jitters" - a side effect some experience after drinking coffee (Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer), but it could also reference his energetic personality. His Japanese name "Zinho" is a diminutive particle commonly used in Brazilian names (particularly common with soccer players). He has the fitness hobby.
Jitters is a green bird with yellow around his orange beak, and blue on the feathers and his belly. He has blue circles around his big, round eyes. Jitters' initial clothing is the soccer tee. His color scheme resembles the Brazilian flag, similar to the music in his house, K.K. Samba.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the Jock personality. For more information, click here.
Jitters has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Jitters is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Jitters.
House
Jitters has K.K. Samba as the music in his house. His flooring and wallpaper is backyard flooring and wallpaper. His house has sprinklers and bugs. Jitters' house looks like a backyard. He has the barbecue, two oil drums, and lounge chair.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Jitters' house consists of stadium wallpaper and backyard flooring, with sparse furniture, only featuring a net, two soccer balls, and a champion's pennant. There is speculation to Jitters' house being one of the worst rated by the HHA by certain players who have replicated villager houses in their own.
