Template:Infobox game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the 5th game in the Super Smash Bros. series. The game features all previous characters from the series. Ultimate is notable for introducing over a dozen new characters to the series, all of whom are confirmed to receive amiibo figures.


Figure Player transfer

The player can transfer their amiibo's figure player from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. however, their figure player's level will be decreased depending on it's level in 3DS/Wii U (eg. a Level 50 amiibo in 3DS/Wii U will become Level 12 in Ultimate). Amiibo behaviors do not carry over in any significant way: rather, Smash Ultimate randomizes their behavior to fight like a typical Level 12 Figure Player.

Ultimate is compatible with all previous Smash Bros. amiibo.

Prior to Ultimate's release, fighters that had received amiibo from other games were technically compatible with Smash. Examples include:

  • Chrom
  • Daisy
  • Inkling
  • Pokemon Trainer
  • Isabelle
