Butch is a villager who appeared in Animal Crossing: Wild World. Butch is a black and brown dog who can be very cranky at times, but after the player befriends him, he becomes a lot nicer to them. His house is modern themed from the start, although, like all villagers, he may request furniture from a different theme. The song that plays in his stereo is K.K. Fusion.
Butch has a bit of an obsession with fossils - if you are his friend, he may ask you to bring him a fossil or follow him to dig for fossils.
