Rolf is a white tiger with dark gray stripes who appears to be based on the {{Wp|White tiger|white Bengal tiger}}. He has dark gray whiskers, pink around his eyes, and blue on the insides of his ears.

Rolf is a cranky villager, and will at first seem rude and belittling to other villagers, as well as the player. As time goes on, however, Rolf will warm up to the player, considering them his "only friend". Also, he will get along with his personality's female counterpart, the [[big sister]] villagers, due to their similar personalities, though he may still conflict with them if they have differing opinions. He may find it difficult to get along with other personalities, especially [[jock]] and [[peppy]] villagers, the latter of whom he complains about in conversation.

Appearance

Rolf is a white tiger with dark gray stripes who appears to be based on the white Bengal tiger. He has dark gray whiskers, pink around his eyes, and blue on the insides of his ears.

Rolf is a cranky villager, and will at first seem rude and belittling to other villagers, as well as the player. As time goes on, however, Rolf will warm up to the player, considering them his "only friend". Also, he will get along with his personality's female counterpart, the big sister villagers, due to their similar personalities, though he may still conflict with them if they have differing opinions. He may find it difficult to get along with other personalities, especially jock and peppy villagers, the latter of whom he complains about in conversation.

  • Rolf appears in the North American e-Reader card artwork for "Comrade K.K."
  • Since Rolf is the only cranky tiger present in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, he has exclusive dialogue on New Year's Day celebrating the Year of the Tiger, starting in 2022. When spoken to enough times, he will state, "You bet I'm jazzed! We got ourselves a Year of the Tiger now! A brand-new year, all about me! And I'm gonna be ROARIN' my way through the whole blamed thing!"
