Bea (ベーグル, Bagel) is a normal dog villager from the Animal Crossing series, only appearing in Animal Crossing (GCN) and the Japanese versions. She is most likely named after the beagle, a dog breed. Her catchphrase, bingo, is possibly a reference to the popular dog name. Her Japanese name possibly comes from English tongue twister "How many bagels could a beagle bake if a beagle could bake bagles?".
Appearance
Bea is a brown dog with dark ears and a muddy-looking mouth. Bea has very dark eyes, which are the same shade of her ears. Bea appears to be somewhat short and has friendly eyes that are half-closed, resembling a soft and gentle nature. She wears a Flicker shirt, which has an orange and blue checkered pattern on it. She is sometimes compared to the pug dog breed, but unlike pugs, Bea has a long nose. She also resembles Maddie.
Personality

Bea has a normal personality, which means she is very friendly and well-mannered. Bea is also very sweet and likes to talk. Bea appears to be rather shy at times, but once the player is close to her and becomes her friend, her shy personality changes and she becomes more outgoing. Bea usually goes to bed at about 9:00-10:00 pm and wakes up about 6:00-7:00 am.
House
Bea's house has a ceramic tile and rose wall. She has some clothes in her room, such as the gelato shirt, blossom shirt, and rally shirt, as well as a ranch cupboard and bookcase, teddy bears, a green lampside table and a green bed. She also has a CD player that plays K.K. Parade.
