For Japan this game was released on November 21st, 2001, for North America this game was released on December 3, 2001, for the European Union this game was released on May 24th, 2002 and for Australia this game was released on May 31st, 2002.

Changes from the original game

  • Captain Falcon is now a default character.
  • There's now an All Star mode with 25 Mr. Game and Watch enemies as the last foes, an event match and trophies etc.
