Hot Lips is an enemy in the Yoshi (series) debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It's a lava dwelling creature.
History
Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island
Hot Lips remains stationary in the lava til Yoshi gets close. They attack by spitting a lava stream at him similar to a Spray Fish, unlike the Spray Fish, if the lava stream hits Yoshi, he dies and loses a life instantly. They can be stunned by a throwing an egg at them and only the POW Block can defeat them.

Yoshi's Island DS
Hot Lips reappears in Yoshi's Island DS, retaining their same attack pattern from the previous game.
Yoshi's New Island
Hot Lips appears in Yoshi's New Island reprising their same role, however the lava stream no longer kills Yoshi. Instead it damages him like any other enemy.
