Hint Blocks are blocks with faces on them, which appear throughout Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, and Yoshi's Island DS. They give advice to Mario, Luigi or Yoshi to use throughout the game if headbutted. They also tell the player how to play and how to use special attacks. In Naval Piranha's Fort, one of them gives help through a poem.
Trivia
- The last Hint Block in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island appeared in Bowser's Castle, where it said "RUN AWAY!!! HURRY!!!"
