Ground Pounds are moves that lets the Yoshi (species) make small earthquakes to stun certain enemies and to defeat them. In Super Mario World, Yellow Yoshi can make earthquakes by ground pounding. They can defeat a lot of enemies easily. It have appears in every game so far as serves as Yoshi's down special in the Super Smash Bros. (series). Luigi And Mario can also ground pound. In some games, Wario can ground pound.
