Yoshi's Story
Big Blurps make their only appearance in any Mario game in Yoshi's Story. In this game, they appear in the Jungle Puddle. They can jump very high out of the water with an excellent aim. They can eat a Baby Yoshi with ease, resulting in all of the petals being lost on its Smile Meter, causing the Yoshi to be lost. Yoshi must be extremely careful not to fall into the water when there is a Big Blurp near, as within seconds, it can attack. Big Blurps are invincible and cannot be destroyed.
Also in this game are a relative of Big Blurps, Big Blue Blurps. They squirt the Yoshi who roams the surface.
