Balloon Bullies (also known as Balloon Buddies) are allies in Yoshi's Story. The two levels that the Balloon Bullies appear are Surprise!! and Lift Castle. In the island on a beautiful day, when Yoshi hits the ? bubble with an egg, the Balloon Bully inflates. When Yoshi stands on it, the player uses the Control Stick to move the balloon to help Yoshi reach certain things. It looks similar to an Air Bag, but only white with a different face. Inside the castle, Balloon Buddies can also move with gears.
