Gabi (ペチカ, Pechika) is a rabbit villager with a peppy personality who has appeared in all Animal Crossing series titles so far. Her catchphrase relates to her species, "bun" being a shortening of "bunny". Her name, Gabi, may refer to being extremely talkative, a trait peppy villagers tend to possess. Her name also probably came from the Tagalog word of "night", like peppy villagers staying up late. She shares her name with the Japanese localization's name for Vladimir. She appears on the album cover for K.K. Lullaby. She has the fashion hobby.
Appearance
Gabi is a white rabbit, with the lower half of her body being a somewhat light brown. She has a tuft of hair on her forehead which forms 5 downward tips, and is also light brown. The inside of her ears are a purple-pink color and she has pink freckles. Her eyes are round with large, round pupils in the middle, and she has a large, shiny black nose. The tips of her hands are colored yellow, with a slight light brown ring between the yellow of her paws and the white of her arms. Gabi's initial shirt is the waffle shirt, which was changed to the gingham picnic shirt in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
House
From Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival to Animal Forest e+, Gabi's house is crowded with plants from the house plant set. She has a cabana screen and two cabana chairs. Gabi has three items from the musical instruments set, including: the ebony piano, the vibraphone, and the metronome. She also has a turntable.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, Gabi's house has a modern, loosely musical theme, with various instruments such as a grand piano and a vibraphone. Various pot plants and a metronome are included. She also owns a tall nebuloid.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Gabi's house is similar to her Animal Crossing: City Folk house. She has a variety of musical instruments, as well as a metronome. She again has a turntable.
In every main game that Gabi has been in, her favorite song is K.K. Love Song, except in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, where it is Neapolitan.
