Aurora (オーロラ, Ōrora) is a normal penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series. She is named after the aurora, which can be seen in the skies above the South pole, where most species of penguins live. Her initial phrase comes from pronouncing "baby" while shivering, which happens when words are pronounced usually in cold weather or climates. She has appeared in every Animal Crossing game to date.

Appearance

Aurora is a typical penguin with black eye sockets, and when she blinks her eyelids are a pale-pink. She also has a large, white belly, and a black stripe going down the front of her face. She has black feet and gray on her flippers, neck, and back, making her look like Cube. She initially wears the pink tartan shirt in City Folk, but she wears a Classic Top in Animal Crossing.

As a normal villager, Aurora will appear friendly and hospitable towards the player and other villagers. Like other normal villagers, she will have an unseen obsession with hygiene and cleanliness, which she mentions when the player visits her in her home. Other than her hygiene interests, she will appear neutral and open-minded when discussing hobbies. She will get along easily with other villagers, but may conflict with snooty and cranky villagers when they say something hurtful or offensive to her. She is very friendly making the player think she is very kind and welcoming.

House

Aurora's house in Animal Crossing doesn't have any specific theme to it. She has many clocks, as well as four gyroids against the wall. She also has an Iris Table, and two Daffodil Chairs to go with it. She also has an Elephant Slide, and a Red Boombox that plays K.K. Swing. Her wallpaper is the Lunar Horizon, and her flooring is the Kitchen Tile.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk, Aurora's house is mostly unchanged. Her Elephant Slide is still there, and she has an Iris Table, and a Daffodil Chair. She also has removed most of her clocks, except for the Kitschy Clock. She also has a Gold Stereo that plays K.K. Gumbo. Her floor and wallpaper is the same as in the last game, the Lunar Horizon, and the Kitchen Tile.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Aurora's house has changed a bit from the previous games. She has removed her Elephant Slide, and added some furniture from the Minimalist Series. She also has a Robo Table with a snow globe on it. She also has two Cream Sofas on either side of the Robo Table, and a Dice Stereo that plays K.K. Gumbo. She once again has the Lunar Horizon, and the Kitchen Tile.
