Surprisingly, the morning tune is very energetic and awake in both versions of the game. It is like that because all the shops open up, and animals start to come out of their homes. Throughout the song is a piano making four notes repeatedly with a drum beat. A synthesizer plays a portion of the Main Theme. Comparing with the other hourly tunes, this one is one of the most upbeat.
The GCN version is considered upbeat in a different kind of way. A group of clarinets, a vibraphone, and what seems to be a type of oboe play the Main Theme in a cheery, summer morning day. Like in all other versions, this is the most upbeat tune.
