Sprocket (ヘルツ, Hertz) is an ostrich. He is a jock villager, meaning he has an interest in physical fitness and sports which makes him appear competitive and stereotypically slow-witted. He is the only male ostrich in the American Animal Crossing series games. He, along with Ribbot, Coco, and Stitches, are the only non-animal villagers.
Appearance
Sprocket has a mechanical exterior, with a green head, grey body, and an orange beak and legs. He barely looks like a normal ostrich as he is mostly a robot but he has a few thin, green hairs on the back of his head. He is one of a few robotic-looking villagers - Ribbot, a grey mechanical frog, being one example.

As mentioned, he is a jock villager with an interest in fitness and sports, which he will mention frequently - to the dismay of other villagers in the town. He will get along with Peppy villager, but will not get along with Lazy villagers, due to their dislike of exersicing. He may also offend Cranky and Snooty villagers.

His house contains many items from the Robot Series, which connects to his appearance.
Other
Sprocket seems to be the only male ostrich in all of animal crossing, city folk and wild world.
