Clyde

Clyde is a lazy horse villager in the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Crossing: City Folk and has appeared in all subsequent games. His name may be derived from Clydesdale, a horse breed. His catchphrase comes from the noise horses make with their hooves when walking on a hard surface, clip-clop. In New Horizons, Clyde has the play hobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.
