2 AM in Wild World/City Folk has a nighttime electric piano with an accordion that plays near the middle. It is bright and dark at the same time and has a drum kit with shaker sounds. It sounds much like a lullaby. There is a remix of it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That version has a lively drum kit and is very bright, as if a party had been still going on.
In Animal Crossing (GCN) and Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival for N64 and GameCube, the 2 A.M. theme is very upbeat and unusual for that time.
The New Leaf 2 AM is also different, with prominent electric piano, whistling, and clean electric guitar. It is a quiet tune but not a sleepy one.
