Ketchup is a Peppy Villager, which is red she is a Peppy Villager. She plays Neapolitan.
Her name is derived by “Tomato Ketchup”, as Ketchup sauce.
Appearance
Ketchup is a red duck with a yellow beak, orange cheeks, and green hair on her forehead that resembles leaves. She is meant to look like a tomato, which connects to her name, Ketchup. She initially wears the Flicker Shirt in Animal Forest e+, and the Rose Sky Tee in New Leaf.

Ketchup has a peppy personality, meaning that she will be friendly and excitable. She will rarely get discouraged from doing anything and she will always be happy to see the player. She will have a tendency to say things like "omigosh" and will often tell the player of her dream of being a popstar or a diva. She is often hyper, probably due to her love of candy and sweet food. She will get along with jock, lazy, normal, and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty or cranky villagers, due to upbeat personality.
