K.K. Slider (とたけけ Totakeke) is the start name of Totakeke, a white vagabond dog who plays the guitar. K.K. performs in front of the train station in Animal Crossing, while in Animal Crossing: Wild World and in Animal Crossing: City Folk he performs on Saturday night in the Pigeon and in New Leaf he performs in the Club LOL singing with the guitar on Saturdays starting from 20:00 in the morning, on the other days, at the same time he is DJ.The time in New Horizons starts at 6:00 PM on a Saturday night. The character can ask the musician for a song, who will satisfy the request if the title of the melody is written correctly. K.K.'s songs are all different and he has one for each genre of music. The character of K.K. is based on Nintendo musician Kazumi Totaka, famous for composing various soundtracks of some games and for dubing the character Yoshi.

Other extras

K.K. makes an extra as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee, which dates back to before the release of Animal Crossing outside of Japan. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, K.K. appears in the Smash Village scenario if played during Saturday night.
