Rod is a jock villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name comes from 'rodent', a category in which mice fall. His initial phrase, "ace", means "to succeed easily" and "highest quality" which will relate to a jock villagers competitive spirit.

CONVERSATION WITH ME AND ROD

Rod:   Hey, yo! `Sup, ace?

So, yeah, ace!   What did you need, anyway?

Me:      I'm here to talk!

Rod: Wassup,    (name here)!

Hey, are you catching bugs, ace?

..........

Sweet!   You can test your skills against me!  I'm a semi-pro, after all.

Let's see who can catch a long locust first. OK, ace?

Me:       Not right now.  .  .

Rod:     Didn't see THAT coming.  .  .

Guess I'll ask someone else then, ace.  .  .

Personality

He is a Jock Villager. Rod is a very friendly mouse and he's always ready to say something nice. Unlike most Jocks he goes to bed early and won't wake up until 6:30.

House

Rod has Old Flooring, a random piece of furniture (commonly a small cactus) and four shirts which he will not part with at the Flea Market. He may also have a few pieces of furniture from the ranch series in his home.
