Ketchup (ケチャップ, Kechappu) is a peppy duck villager in the Animal Crossing series, originally exclusive to Animal Forest e+. She can only move into a village if the player has her E-Reader card. Her name comes from the food, tomato ketchup, due to her tomato-like appearance.

Appearance

Ketchup is a red duck with a yellow beak, orange cheeks, and green hair on her forehead that resembles leaves. She is meant to look like a tomato. She initially wears the Flicker Shirt in Animal Forest e+, and the Rose Sky Tee in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She, Carrot, Merengue, Zucker, and Tangy are some of the villagers that directly resemble food.

House

In Animal Forest e+, Ketchup's house is similar to Bea's, but she has the Ivy Wall and the Kitchen Flooring as the wallpaper and flooring. She has K.K. Technopop or K.K. Salsa playing on her CD Player with three shirts, which are the Gelato Shirt, the Blossom Shirt, and a Rally Shirt and a mixture of Green and Ranch Furniture such as a Green Lamp and a Ranch Cupboard including a set of the Teddy Bear Set, the Baby Bear and the Mama Bear.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Ketchup's house has a backyard pizzeria theme, including the Whole Pizza, Cutting-Board Set, Brick Oven, four stacks of Firewood, Picnic Table, Worktable, and the Sparrow's Nest. She keeps the Ivy Wall from her previous home, and now has a Backyard Lawn for carpeting. If she gain a stereo, it plays Neapolitan.

Ketchup's preferred theme is cute. Her profile says:
