Filbert is a squirrel villager with a Lazy personality introduced in the first game and appeared throughout the series. Filbert is only a lazy squirrel. Filbert has the nature hobby.

Etymology

• Its name, like most of its species, comes from a type of nut. In this case, its name comes from the Spanish word "Filberto" an edible type of hazelnut.

Appearance

Filbert is a light blue squirrel with a white stripe on its forehead (almost like Belinda) and a white swirl on the tail. He has bright pink cheeks and the inside of his rounded ears are orange. His starting outfit is the Vogue Top in all games before New Leaf. In New Leaf, he wears the Checkered tee. He is often mistaken for a girl because of his cheekbones. His eyes are wide, making him look much more like a jock or a snooty villager.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the Lazy personality. For more information, click here. Filbert, being a lazy personality, will be friendly due to his lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he will love to eat, relax and fish. He will get along with other villagers, but he might offend jock villagers, who have an exercise and fitness lifestyle, as opposed to the lazy lifestyle. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics or superheroes.
