Buzz (ひでよし, Hideyoshi) is a cranky eagle villager from the Animal Crossing series. His name comes from buzzards (another bird of prey), or perhaps "buzzard hawk", a colloquial term for many different species of buzzard (eagles in these games are sometimes referred to as hawks). His name may also refer to Buzz Lightyear, or Buzz Aldrin, an astronaut and the second man to walk on the moon.

As a cranky villager, Buzz will appear rude and belittling towards the player at first, but is very kind after a while, especially towards a female character. He is likely to give you items and information a lot of the time. He usually asks for fish and bugs.

His floor is a Stone Flooring, and his wall is an Ivy Wall. He has six chess pieces at the back of his room, three black and three white, a country guitar and a rock guitar, and a Red Boom Box that plays The K. Funk. He also has a blue bench, Flame Umbrella, Trash Can and a plant.
