5 A.M. is the tune that plays when it is 5 A.M. in your town. It has a spacious electric piano. The tune of it gives you a hint that a blue horizon is creeping over the dark atmosphere, of which it has in the Animal Crossing series games. It has simple, repeating electronic drums that also make a chirping sound at a few points. Those are the only two instruments in the song. It is dark and bright at the exact same time, just like how the atmosphere appears to be.
In Animal Crossing , the 5 A.M. music is an upbeat, happy remix of the main theme, with prominent electric piano and nylon-stringed guitar.
In Wild World and City Folk , the 5 A.M. music has a spacious electric piano.
In New Leaf , 5 A.M. has a prominent, relaxed steel drum and is also a remix of the main theme.
