Sprocket (ヘルツ, Hertz) is a robotic ostrich. He is a jock villager, meaning he has an interest in physical fitness and sports which makes him appear competitive and stereotypically slow-witted. He is the only male ostrich in the American Animal Crossing series games. His name is a reference to Sprocket, a character from Fraggle Rock.
