Sandy is a normal ostrich Villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori, and after her appearance in Doubutsu no Mori e+, she did not appear from the Animal Crossing: Wild World to the Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but reappeared in the Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. Data for her exists in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer but ultimately remains unused. Her English name may come from the common misconception that ostriches hide their heads in the sand when frightened.

In New Horizons, Sandy has the nature hobby and may be found reading a book pertaining to an item she is studying, which can be either flowers, bugs, fish, or fossils.

Appearance

Sandy is a orange ostrich with a blue eyeshadow. She has gray feathers, much of her body, and her tail, along with white on her tail. She has a red beak. She has yellow feet and she has gray hair.

Personality

Sandy has the Normal personality, but they can get along with other villagers.
