Deena is a green duck. She has small brown hair, a bright yellow beak, and yellow feet. She has black oval-shaped eyes and the eyes are always open.

Deena has a normal personality, and can often act kind. Deena can come along with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and more normal villagers. Also, she can conflict with cranky and big sister villagers. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Normal and peppy villagers will see an unseen friend called as Moppina. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Deena goes to sleep at 12:00 AM and wakes up at 6:00 AM.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Deena has a music-like theme in her house featuring Timpano Drum, a Vibraphone, and more other furnitures in the School Set.
