She is named after the aurora, which can be seen in the skies above the South pole, where most species of penguins live. Her initial phrase comes from pronouncing "baby" while shivering, which happens when words are pronounced usually in cold weather or climates. It is quite similar to Roald's, Cube's and Gwen's. She has appeared in every Animal Crossing game to date.
