Buzz (ひでよし, Hideyoshi) is a cranky eagle villager from the Animal Crossing series. He only appeared in the original games until Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. His name comes from buzzards (another bird of prey), or perhaps "buzzard hawk", a colloquial term for many different species of buzzard (eagles in these games are sometimes referred to as hawks). His name may also refer to Buzz Lightyear, or Buzz Aldrin, an astronaut and the second man to walk on the moon.

From Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival to Animal Forest e+, Buzz's house has a somewhat outdoor and musical style, with his choice flooring and wallpaper being the Stone Flooring and the Ivy Wall. He has six chess pieces at the back of his room, three black and three white. He also has a country guitar and a rock guitar. He also has a blue bench, a Flame Umbrella, trash can, a plant, and a Red Boom Box that plays The K. Funk.
