Rod (ジャン, Jean) is a jock, mouse villager in the Animal Crossing series series. His name comes from "rodent", a category in which mice fall. His initial phrase, "ace", means "to succeed easily" and "highest quality", which will relate to a jock villagers competitive spirit.

Appearance

Rod is a purple mouse with blond hair and a blue and white striped bandana on his head. The inside of his ears are a bubblegum pink.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, look at the main article found here.

Rod has a jock personality, which means he will have a keen interest in sport and fitness, making him appear competitive and in some cases rude when talking to other villagers, usually criticizing their fitness regime. He will appear slow-witted and absent-minded when in deep, meaningful discussions leaving him to make odd remarks or leaving him confused (and therefore walking off upset). He will get along well with peppy villagers, but get confused by the choice of lifestyle followed by lazy villagers, who appear opposite to the jock personality. He may offend and upset snooty and cranky villagers, by questioning their physical fitness and age, but he will get along with normal villagers, but may, on the rare occasion, anger them.

House

In Animal Forest e+ Rod has Ricky's house, only with the Palace Tile and the Wood Paneling as carpet and wallpaper. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk he has more ranch furniture and has changed the carpet to the Old Flooring, and on the walls he has the Sea View. If he has a stereo, it will have K.K. March playing on it.
