Rod is a jock villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name comes from 'rodent', a category in which mice fall. His initial phrase, "ace", means "to succeed easily" and "highest quality" which will relate to a jock villagers competitive spirit.

Rod is a purple mouse with blond hair and a blue and white striped bandanna.
Personality
He is a Jock Villager. Rod is a very friendly mouse and he's always ready to say something nice :) Unlike most Jocks he goes to bed early and won't wake up untill 6:30
