Rod is a jock villager in the Animal Crossing series. As a jock villager, he will appear friendly and competitive when talking to the player. His name may relate to his personality, possibly relating to Hot Rods (cars with large engines, used in racing and for show). His initial phrase, "ace", means "to succeed easily" and "highest quality" which will relate to a jock villagers competitive spirit.

Appearance

Rod is a purple mouse with blond hair and a blue and white striped headband. He has a grungey appearance which matches his "hot rod" name and phrase, which relates to the appearances of hot rod cars - typically dark, possibly purple and black coloring.

Personality

As a jock villager, he will appear kind when first talking to him. He has no desire to move away and may stay in the player's town for quite some time. He enjoys receiving clothing, fish, bugs or fossils, and will partake in fishing and bug catching. Rod may get into discussions with other jock villagers about his fitness and how his muscles are better - usually resulting in the player being asked who's better.

House

Rod has Old Flooring, a random piece of furniture (commonly a small cactus)and four shirts which he will not part with at the Flea Market. He may also have ranch furniture in his home.
