Phoebe (ヒノコ, Hinoko) is an uchi ostrich villager that first appears in Template:3DS. Both Phoebe's English and Japanese names are plays on the mythical phoenix--one of the Japanese words for which is hi-no-tori, roughly translating to "firebird". Her initial phrase is most likely a reference to the sparks that come from a fire.
Appearance
Phoebe is an orange-red and brilliant yellow ostrich with spotted wings. Given her name, coloration and the Flame Shirt she wears as her initial outfit, it's likely that she is supposed to be a mythical phoenix. Her appearance is somewhat similar to Rio's, another female ostrich that appeared in the early games in the series.
Personality

Phoebe is a uchi ("big sister") villager. She is a mix of peppy, snooty and normal villagers, and will act like a big sister to the villager once they become close friends. Like all uchi villagers, if you talk to her after your player gets stung by a bee, she will give you medicine. Phoebe may conflict with Snooty and Cranky villagers, who spread rumors about others. Even so, she is very kind and caring. She likes her coffee with Kilimanjaro, a little bit of milk, and one sugar.
House
Phoebe's house has a variety of furniture with similar color to her, which include red, black and blue-violet. She has a Gorgeous Bed, a mini squelchoid in her house, a glass-top table in the center, a fireplace, a metal guitar, two red sofas, a red cosmos, and a backgammon wall (wallpaper) and checkered tile (flooring). She has a turntable which plays K.K. Flamenco.
