Sprocket (ヘルツ, Herutsu) is a jock ostrich villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is a reference to a type of machine part. He is one of the few villagers that is technically not an animal, along with Ribbot, Del, Coco, and Stitches.
Before his appearance in the data for Happy Home Designer, Sprocket was exclusive to the GameCube games.
He has the music hobby.

In Animal Crossing, Sprocket's house contains many items from the Robot Series, which connects to his appearance. If Sprocket is given a stereo, it will play K.K. Technopop.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Sprocket has a variety of musical instruments in his house. Most of said instruments are electronic and both his floor and wallpaper have a high tech theme, likely to fit his theme as a robot. At the back of his house, from left to right, he has an electric guitar, amp, drum set, effects rack, another amp, an electric bass, and a pedal board. In the middle of his house, theres silver mic and DJ's turntable that plays K.K. Metal. For wallpaper, he uses the Future-Tech Wall, and for flooring, he uses the Circuit-Board Flooring.

- In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, his body has a metallic texture, reflecting light, and occasionally makes mechanical sounds when moving. This is the same as the other mechanical villagers, Del and Ribbot.
