It was revealed at the [[Electronic Entertainment Expo]] 2010, and a few in-game photographs were added to the [http://www.nintendo.com Nintendo] website<ref>http://e3.nintendo.com/3ds/</ref>. However, it is shown that the [[player]]s and the [[villager]]s will now have more human-like shapes, rather than the shorter ones. The [[tree]]s, [[flower]]s, and houses take on a more real life appearance, and there are also [[bench]]es around the town, though their function is unknown. The player is able to become the mayor of the [[town]]<ref>http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/previewArt.cfm?artid=23365</ref>: With the help of the townsfolk and 'one eager secretary' it will be the character's job to make the town a better place to live<ref>http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/article.php?id=17921</ref>.
