'''Koalas''' are a species of [[villager]] in the {{SER}}. Koalas are indigenous to Australia, lending a theme to some of the villagers' names. Koalas are one of two groups of marsupials that appear in the ''Animal Crossing'' series, the other being [[kangaroo]]s. There are eleven koala villagers so far, four of which are male, and seven of which are female, making this a predominantly female species. Most of the female koalas are [[normal]], but there is one [[peppy]] koala, one [[snooty]] koala, and one [[sisterly]] koala. Each of the male koalas is one of the four different male personalities, meaning one koala is [[cranky]], one is [[jock]], one is [[lazy]], and one is [[smug]].
