[[Rod]] is a [[jock]] [[villager]] in the ''[[Animal Crossing]]'' series. His name possibly is a reference to ''Hot Rods'' (cars with large engines, used in racing and for show). However, it could also be a reference to famous singer Rod Stewart, who wears a headband and has blond hair. His initial phrase, "ace", means "to succeed easily" and "highest quality" which will relate to a jock villagers competitive spirit.<br />

Rod is a purple [[mouse]] with blond hair and a blue and white striped bandanna. He has a grungey appearance which matches his "hot rod" name and phrase, which relates to the appearances of hot rod cars - typically dark, possibly purple and black coloring.<br />

He is a [[Jock]] Villager. Rod is a very friendly mouse and he's always ready to say something nice :)<br />
