As a snooty villager, Yuka will first appear rude and arrogant towards the [[player]], often talking about herself and her own experiences, rather than the needs and concerns of others. She may also talk about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually criticizing other female villagers such as [[normal]], [[peppy]], and other snooty villagers. Yuka brings up her boyfriend ever now and then, Yukas boyfriend does not appear in the game. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings, but still keeping subtly rude. She will find it hard to get along with other villagers, specifically [[jock]] and [[lazy]] villagers who have conflicting lifestyles with her own. She may get on with [[cranky]] villagers, who also enjoy gossiping about the appearance and lifestyles of others.

Chow is a cranky villager. Although he is a grumpy [[villager]], he can be very nice. He will constantly ask you for a [[fishing]] contest. Sometimes when you have a fish in your inventory an exclamation point will appear above his head and he will ask for the fish. Then he will give you something back. He has harassed many normal residents by saying ''"So I heard you were planning a big wedding ceremony."'' It is also noted that his smile can be very unnerving, reminiscent of a crazy or disturbed person. He uses a Ribbon umbrella when it rains. Chow also likes pink furniture, he will ask you to get him some. Chow might be mean at first, but maybe when he moves away you might want him to move back. If you have more than one of your own characters in your house, sometimes he takes a real dislike to one or two of them, although he may be nice to the others. When talking to a normal villager he might call them a "doodie head".

Bea appears to be rather shy at times, but once you get close to her and become her friend, her shy personality breaks and she becomes more outgoing. If she lives in your town, you will notice that Bea usually goes to bed at about 9:00-10:00pm and wakes up about 6:00-7:00am.
