Bill has a jock personality, but appears to be wiser than the standard Jock [[villagers]]. He gets along well with other villagers, as well as the [[player]]. Like other Jock villagers, he will appear upset if a Player's friend stops visiting. Bill always talks about working out his muscles. He will usually challenge the villager in fishing competitions to see who can catch the rarest fish, or find a (fish name) first. Sometimes, Bill will ask you to get him brown furniture. If he comes from a town that you connected with, he will often sing their town tune and talk about the Player that lives there.

==House==
Bill's house will have musical instruments, and two bird cages. He posesses many oriental and cabana-themed furniture, which is ironic because his calm and subtle home does not match his outgoing personality. If Bill gets a stereo it will play [[K.K. Reggae]]. He will find it difficult to socialize with [[peppy]] villagers, who he will criticize when talking to other villagers. He will get along with [[normal]] and [[snooty]] villagers, as well as other cranky villagers, who he will share deeper conversations with. He will, on occasion, annoy a normal villager, usually when being mean about something or someone.

His home is very neat and oriental, containing furniture from the [[Exotic Series]]. It contrasts with his cranky personality. Once obtaining a [[Stereo|stereo]], he will play ''[[K.K. Rally]]''.

As a peppy villager, Bluebear will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects such as appearing in competitions and the chance of her losing. This sometimes triggers her to ask for a certain item of clothing or furniture which she needs to enter a competition. She, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual [[hobbies]]. She will also have a short attention span, which means she will soon forget arguments or tasks given to the [[player]] which were not completed. She may ask the player; ''"Sooo, how am I dressed today?"'' The player is presented with a slide-bar indicating ''Kinda slobby...'' and ''Super formal!'' Moving the bar close to ''Super formal!'' will make her happy, thus giving a good chance of receiving her [[picture]] (in ''Wild World'' only).

Chow is a pink Panda Bear with black arms, eyes, and legs, and also has a mole under his left eye. Chow is initialy seen wearing a Star shirt which you can buy at the Able Sisters' shop. He uses a ribbon umbrella when it rains.

Chow is a cranky villager. Although he is a cranky [[villager]], he can be very nice. He will constantly ask you for a [[fishing]] contest. Sometimes when you have a fish in your inventory an exclamation point will appear above his head and he will ask for the fish. Then he will give you something back. He has harassed many [[normal]] residents by saying ''"So I heard you were planning a big wedding ceremony."'' It is also noted that his smile can be very unnerving, reminiscent of a crazy or disturbed person. Chow also likes pink furniture, he will ask you to get him some. Chow might be mean at first, but maybe when he moves away you might want him to move back. If you have more than one of your own characters in your house, sometimes he takes a real dislike to one or two of them, although he may be nice to the others. When talking to a normal villager he might call them a "doodie head".

His initialHEEK ALL CATS! quote, "oui oui", is French for "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just "yes"). His species relates to the common French stereotype in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frog's legs. Like Cousteau, [[Gaston]] the [[rabbit]] and [[Marcel]] the [[dog]] are french.

Another explanation for his shirt, could be the colors, which are the very same as the French flag.
