Peppy villagers take offense quite easily, and may walk away upset rather than angry when the wrong things are said in a conversation between her and the [[player]], or another villager. Like other normal villagers, she will have an unseen obsession with hygiene and cleanliness, which she mentions when the player visits her in her home. Other than her hygiene interests, she will appear neutral and open-minded when discussing [[hobbies]]. She will get along easily with other villagers, but may conflict with [[lazy]] villagers when they talk about food and leading her on to suggesting making them dinner or lunch.

His name is French, and some famous Frenchmen have had it as a second name. His name and personality together may refer to [[Wikipedia:Jacques Cousteau|Jacques Cousteau]]. His initial phrase, "oui oui", is French for "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just "yes"). His species relates to the common French stereotype in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frog's legs. Like Cousteau, [[Gaston]] the [[rabbit]] and [[Marcel]] the [[dog]] are french.

He is a yellow frog with orange spots. He also has a black mustache on his face which goes with his French name and quote. Another explanation for his shirt, could be the colors, which are the very same as the French flag.
