He loves to work out and exercise. His house contains many robotic devices, proving he somewhat likes machines. He is nicer than most male villagers, but gets very annoying at times because all he tells you are things related to exercise.

Rod is a purple [[mouse]] with blond hair and a blue and white striped hat.

==Personality==
Rod is a [[jock]] that is kind from the start. Strangely unlike most jocks, Rod wants to be your good friend right away. He has no desire to move away and may stay in your town for 8 months or so. This villager will get angry if you don't deliver him medicine, a shirt, a fish, a bug, or whatever, so just avoid him! Every once in a while, he will be sure to ask you to deliver a letter or package. Be sure not to blow him off- this only happens every once in a while. Rod will often talk with another (if at the time there is one living there) Jock about how his muscles are better, and you'll have to be the tie braker. You can also hear them chit chat about a tennis or racketball tournament. Well, no matter what, make good friends with Rod or he will be very upset!

'''Kapp'n''' is a green turtle that features in the ''[[Animal Crossing (series)|Animal Crossing]]'' series as a driver of various forms of transport. He has been known to row boats, drive taxis and buses. Kapp'n himself is a sailor by nature, referring frequently to his life on the sea and speaking in stereotypical pirate tones. He has also expresses a fondness for women and singing old sea shanties.

The word 'Kappa', from which Kapp'n derives, is the name for a river imp in Japanese folklore. They are mischevous in nature, and reptilian in appearance. His name also could be the sailor pronounciation of 'captain', where letters are missed out in certain words which is how sailors in the past were believed to of talked.
In Animal Crossing, Let's Go To The City, he drives the bus to the [[city]], often asking you questions about your life, and talking about the wonders of the city.

His catchphrases are:

'Sprat' 
'Garrr!' 
 
And often uses fish and other sea life when talking to the [[Player]], such as '''Sea Bass''', '''Urchin''' and '''Scallop'''.

He can sometimes be found in [[The Roost]], located in the [[museum]], and will talk about his memories of the sea, and how he misses it, referring to his job in previous Animal Crossing games.

On the bus to the city, he'll often be talking to male characters about any ''lasses'' they may of met in the city, and often comments about how the younger generation are picky about who they date and see. Again, this could be referencing to '''sea dogs''' or [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seaman Seamen] and their port behaviour.

Chow is a villager who is cranky in all the games. In Wild world, he has exotic furniture, a golden gyroid and fish in his house. Although he is a grumpy animal, he can be very nice.

He will constantly ask you for fishing contests. Sometimes when you have a fish in your inventory an exclamation point will appear above his head and he will ask for the fish. Then he will give you something back.

On the back of Chow's pic it says:

"Remember I'm always watching you"

He has no music in his house but the golden gyroid called a "Squat Dingloid"
