Chow is a villager who is cranky in all the games. Although he is a grumpy [[animal]], he can be very nice.
He will constantly ask you for a [[fishing]] contest. Sometimes when you have a fish in your inventory an exclamation point will appear above his head and he will ask for the fish. Then he will give you something back. He has harassed many normal residents by saying "So I heard you were planning a big wedding ceremony." It is also noted that his smile can be very unnerving, reminiscent of a crazy or disturbed person. He uses a Ribbon umbrella when it rains. Chow also likes pink furniture, he will ask you to get him some.

==House==
In ''[[Animal Crossing: Wild World|Wild World]]'', he has imperial furniture, a golden ("Squat Dingloid") [[gyroids|gyroid]], and fish in his house. He listens to K.K. Steppe. When talking to a peppy villager he might call them a "doodie head". Chow might be mean at first but, maybe when he moves away you might want him to move back. If you have more than one of your own characters in your house, sometimes he takes a real dislike to one or two of them, although he may be nice to the others.

== Appearence ==
Chow is a pink [[bear]] with black 'round his eyes, arms, legs, and ears. Chow also has a mole below his own eye. Chow resembles a panda bear. His favorite shirt is the Star shirt. He frowns, his teeth appears to be seen.

[[Butch]] is a [[cranky]] [[dog]] [[villager]] in the {{SER}} series. His name reflects on the cartoon name given to dogs, usually meaning muscular in appearance. His Rottweiler appearance may also relate to this, as they too appear masculine and muscular. His initial phrase, 'ROOOOOWF', is a slight adjustment on the spelling 'woof' and 'ruff'.

==Appearance==
Butch is a caramel orange-brown and chocolate ebony dog with creamy white and dark brown tipped paws, possibly being a Rottweiler or Doberman. His eyebrows always show a frown. He has a great, dark dog nose with a corkscrew smile and his eyes look very serious. His dark brown, floppy dog ears slightly transition into a caramel color at the tip. His tail is also dark chocolate and his arms and legs are the same color as his head. He wears an Arctic Camo that is a very snowy, light blue with slightly darker blue, large spots splashed around on top of it.

As a [[cranky]] villager, Butch will appear adult and mature compared to other male villager types. He may appear mean and crabby towards the [[player]] and other villagers. However, he will slowly become more open and friendly after talking to the player. He will get along with other cranky villages and [[snooty]] villagers, whom will share the same interests. He will find it hard to get along with [[lazy]] and [[peppy]] villagers, and will tell the player indirectly about planting gossip on peppy villagers. He will indulge in the usual [[hobbies]], usually for spiritual reasons such as relaxing and tranquility. He also mentions a niece of his interesting in bug collecting.

==House==
His house has the [[Modern Series|modern]] theme, including the violin and dart board. Butch has 1 gyroid in his house; the nebuloid. He usually doesn't want to part with his stuff at the Flea Market. He usually has the song [[K.K. Fusion]] on.

His name is a French name, which some famous Frenchmen have had for a second name. His initial quote, "oui oui", is french for "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just yes). His species relates to the common french stereotype, in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frogs legs.

He is a yellow frog with orange spots. He also has a black moustache on his face which goes with his french name and quote. As a jock villager, he'll tend to appear slow-witted in conversation, as well as show interest in sports and fitness, often commenting on his muscles and physical fitness.
